The Opportunity
Seeking experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to ensure the provision of progressive, cost effective quality patient care by advancing the level of clinical nurse practice through expert practice, education, consultation, research and leadership. Primary responsibilities of a clinical nurse is to provide clinical nurse expertise to direct the nursing process within the Neo-Natal Intensive Care (NICU) population on behalf of the patient and family; provide mentoring, coaching and collaboration to advance evidence nursing practice; and collaborate throughout the organization to identify opportunities and implement strategies to support clinical innovation.
Clinical Nurse Jobs Qualifications
- A minimum (3) three years experience as a level III Neo-Natal Intensive Care (NICU) Registered Nurse required.
- Current license to practice as a RN in California required.
- Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) by the State of California required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
- Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Neo-Natal Resuscitation Program (RNP) certifications required.
