Responsibilities:
This nursing job vacancy is for registered nurses who will be responsible for screening all potential Surgical or Procedural AM and Outpatient admissions to the hospital. If chosen for the nursing jobs vacancy for registered nurses, you will be charged to ensure pre-procedural requirements are met in a safe, appropriate and effective manner and provide safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing. Additional responsibilities for the chosen candidate for the nursing jobs vacancy for registered nurses will include directing collecting and synthesizing patient information, preoperative assessment, planning of care/intervention, teaching of patients/family for anticipated hospitalization, implementation of treatment plan/MD orders, timely and complete documentation and evaluation. Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.
To qualify for the nursing jobs vacancy for registered nurses, all applicants must possess the following requirements:
- Current RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and PALS required.
- Prior experience in pre-operative and postoperative surgical nursing preferred.
- Must have good assessment and IV skills.
